Testimonials

Our son Abhay Sidhantha has been going to Vidya and Pradeep's Jana House of Children since he was 1 year and 8 months old. The variety of activities that were required to engage Abhay at that tender age was daunting and challenging to us as parents. We were at a loss as to how to stimulate his young, curious mind. We were worried that he was not learning the essential skills like hand-eye co-ordination, motor skills, balance, vocabulary, etc. at home. So, we looked towards Vidya for training our son in these areas.
After joining JHC, we could see that Abhay's skills were improving. He was not a boy of many words before then and there was drastic improvement in terms of range of words, sentence formation, clarity in speech after he started interacting with Vidya and the other kids in the school. In a short while he was running, playing, catching ball, holding a pencil and scribbling, wearing his shoes, wearing his pant/shirt, eating on his own. While at JHC not only did he learn but also enjoyed doing the varied activities. At JHC there are so many creative tasks and work materials that all the kids are engaged with – it is impossible to provide such an environment at home.
Abhay is now almost 4. We can see that all the training that Vidya provided in his initial years (from 2 to 3 and 1/2) is paying off bit by bit. He is able to eat on his own – without making a very big mess! He does his homework on his own. The reason for this is the number of children who come to Vidya for tuitions. Abhay watches them during his extended care hours and is influenced by the homework and learning being done by these kids under her watchful eye. It’s a matter of pride for him that he is capable of doing his homework on his own without our help. He knows that doing homework is an essential part of school life. My husband and I think it’s a very good achievement. Not to mention, Abhay has made some of his best friends there.
JHC also provides clean, hygienic food for extended care kids and Abhay is a fan of the culinary variety being served up in JHC. Vidya also runs a shloka class for the kids during weekends. It’s due to her charitable nature that she is teaching shlokas for free. We enjoy listening to Abhay recite a few shlokas every now and then.
Pradeep being a trained counselor himself also organizes parenting workshops and seminars frequently. This helps us gain insights on how to become a better parent and is a good platform to meet with experts on the subject.
Being a trained professional, Vidya has been a guiding light for Abhay and us. We get constant feedback from her about our son and also timely suggestions as to how to improve our skills as parents. I would like to end this testimonial by saying that it’s not just Jana "house" of children; it is Jana "Home" of children.

My son Saathvik was 1.4 years when he started his schooling with Jana House of Children. Considering his age picking right school was a difficult decision for us as parents. We were looking for second home filled with abundant love and care for my little one instead of one which would teach him Alphabets, Phonics, Rhymes and Numbers like any other.

  • Individual attention to each kid.
  • Understand each kid thoroughly and work with them accordingly.
  • Well trained and experienced school staff.
  • Homely and friendly atmosphere.
  • Activities and learning made fun filled and playful for kids.
  • Dynamic environment.
  • Easily approachable staff.
  • Parents being constantly and actively involved in all the school activities.
  • Special sessions and seminars being arranged for parents.
  • One-on-one PTMs arranged at regular intervals to individually discuss with parents about their child’s development and draw backs to address.

These things make “Jana House of Children” a very different, excellent and special place for kids.
School has always worked hand–in–hand with parents towards child’s growth and overall development of the kid, say mental ability, logical thinking, etc. Many Small things that they follow at school have helped kids in long run.

Simple examples:

  • Parents being insisted on sending only Fruits/Vegetables as part of snacks which is a very thoughtful and healthy initiative.
  • Parents being part of school trip was again a commendable decision.
  • "Parent participation activities”- wherein parents are invited to teach kids is again a very unique initiative.

We are very happy about our decision of choosing this school for my child. It’s been a wonderful Journey and fruitful association. Thanks to all the staff members and Management of Jana House of Children.

We were looking for play school for our son at the age 2 years; we were fortunate that we got introduced to Jana Pre-School, which has small crowd, is simple, and in a way it is extended home for the kids.
Smt. Vidya P Jana teaches lot of life skills and academics in very simple way to younger kids.
Our family was amazed by the bhajans, shoklas taught at school.
We can say Smt Vidya P Jana is not only good teacher, she is “GREAT GURU” for the young kids, who constantly guides in the right direction. Jana school is very transparent about the progress of kid and encourages parents to discuss freely about their concerns.
After completion of 2 years in Jana Pre School our son got transformed from introvert child to independent and expressive child, Special Thanks to Vidya P Jana as she is the one responsible for this transformation.
We are glad to be part of Jana PreSchool , completely satisfied with the exposure and environment that school provides for the development of young kids.
We personally recommend the Jana House of Children as the best learning place for young kids, as well as for the parents (for all the parenting tips).
Our family wholeheartedly thanks Smt. Vidya Jana, Pradeep Jana and school staff, for the hard work put for making the kids learn and our best wishes to them to continue great work!!!!!!

We were keen to find a perfect place for our son where he would start his exposure to the external world. Moment we spoke with Vidya and Pradeep, we were sure that this is the right place and today after 18 months we are proud of our decision. What sets Jana school apart is Vidya and Pradeep's genuine passion and commitment for the overall development of every child in the school. For example, being young parents we often had several questions and doubts about our approach on up-bringing. We never had to wait for the official meeting schedules, rather Vidya patiently listened to us during pickup or drop timings and answered and handheld us to perfect these initial stages of parenthood. Within no time our son became comfortable with the school and over a year learnt important skills like mingling with other children, asking for help, eating the food without wasting etc. Freshly prepared healthy lunch is a special attraction for sure. Tours, events and seminars are well thought about and have a unique theme around Nature, Nation and Tradition. Hearty thanks to Vidya and Pradeep for running this school so well and wish them abundant health and energy to continue their great work in shaping a healthy society through Jana House of Children!

"We were worried about the introvert nature of our daughter, Khushi. We were looking out for a play home which would be a home away from home. We hoped that Khushi would open up and improve after she joined her play home. Fortunately for us she blossomed under the watchful eyes and able guidance of Vidya and Pradeep Jana. Not only did she start interacting with everyone but her oral, linguistic, logical and motor skills developed amazingly as a result of their tutelage. Thanks to Jana House of Children."
