Children experience a variety of activities when in school from regular classroom studies to play to eating to singing and in the process, learning all the way. The interaction that they have with others in the school environment prepares them for real life situations and makes them become more confident to handle themselves. Student count is maintained such that every child gets individual attention. The teaching curricula are designed to promote the child’s ability to gain confidence and become independent with a "can do" attitude.
Programs at the Jana House of Children are designed keeping the needs of the children in mind. We teach them to appreciate nature and all that it offers to us. Children need to be able to get adjusted to their surroundings and grow up to become responsible adults. In this direction our staff members work not only with the children but also with the parents in helping them in the development of their children.
Typically, every child steps out of the house and be away from the parents for the first time as an infant. There is a strong need to develop a sense of security in the child’s mind and for it to start communicating with those outside home and the immediate family. Children learn to interact with other children and adults and their learning has already begun at this stage of life. The environment at Jana House of Children is such that it creates this sense of belonging and instills confidence in every child.

The Toddler program is designed for the child to develop a firm foundation in life. The early years of life are the most fundamental in the development of human beings and their potential. These years are when the core of personality, language, movement and trust are developed. Our classroom environment has been prepared to meet the needs of the toddler in order to foster independence, psychomotor development and language acquisition. Here, the teacher is the facilitator to provide this guidance and the classroom offers examples of how parents can follow through with the learning experience at home.
